These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern your access to and use of the Naija Impact web and mobile application (the “Platform”), a product of the Solidarity Empowerment Club (SEC). By using our Platform, you agree to comply with the following terms:
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, downloading, registering, or using the Naija Impact Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these T&Cs, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines provided.
2. Eligibility
- Users must be Nigerian citizens aged 15 years and above.
- Priority is given to underserved youth, women, artisans, and rural communities.
- Valid government-issued identification or community certification may be required for verification.
3. Scope of Empowerment Services
Through the Platform, users can apply for and benefit from:
- Skills Acquisition Trainings (Digital, Vocational, Technical)
- Undergraduate Scholarships
- SME Business Grants and Incubation Support
- Community Primary Healthcare Initiatives
- Agricultural Input and Farmer Training Programs
- Toolkits and Grants for Artisans
- Leadership Development Bootcamps and Mentorship
4. Funding and Accountability
- Naija Impact targets $10 million in annual fundraising from institutional partners, donors, and philanthropic networks.
- All funds are utilized for program execution, digital infrastructure, outreach, and transparency reporting.
- SEC commits to publishing annual Impact and Financial Reports to ensure accountability to the public and donors.
5. Registration & Use
- Users must create a verified profile via the app or website.
- Access to specific services may require completion of digital assessments or training modules.
- Misrepresentation or duplicate entries will result in disqualification.
6. Code of Conduct
Users must:
- Use the platform lawfully, respectfully, and honestly.
- Not engage in fraud, manipulation, or abuse of opportunities.
- Report any misuse or suspicious activity to SEC.
- Violation may lead to suspension, account deletion, and legal action.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, trademarks, user interfaces, and technologies on the platform are the intellectual property of Solidarity Empowerment Club. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt platform materials without prior written consent.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
- We collect and use personal data in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).
- Data may be used for program eligibility, analytics, or impact tracking.
- By using the platform, users consent to limited use of anonymized data in promotional or donor reporting.
9. Limitation of Liability
Naija Impact and SEC shall not be liable for:
- Delays in services due to connectivity, force majeure, or funding gaps.
- Any personal or financial loss not directly resulting from platform negligence.
10. Platform Access & Updates
- Platform functionality may be updated regularly to improve user experience.
- Features may be temporarily unavailable during scheduled maintenance or development.
- Continued use after updates implies acceptance of new terms.
11. Dispute Resolution
All disputes shall be resolved amicably or by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, seated in Abuja, Nigeria.
12. Governing Law
These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
